Dettifoss

The incredibly impressive and incomprehensibly powerful Dettifoss, reputedly to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe. It simply takes your breath away when you see it and it's not its size or its height it's the volume of water and the power of the thing, it's quite simply awe-inspiring and is something that can never be captured with a camera so you'll just have to get over there and experience it for yourself!!!

As of August 2011 there's also a brand new fully sealed road to the west side of the falls so access is no longer an issue :-)
