Elgol's Moods VI

Elgol's Moods VI
This was one of those moments you live for as a photographer. I’d spent almost the entire day at one of the most amazing locations in Scotland, mesmerised by the changing moods of the weather. One minute I had blue skies with white fluffy clouds, the next I was being battered by gale force winds and torrential rain.

The climax of the day was this incredible burst of intense golden light, which lasted no more than a minute, just as the sun was crossing the horizon.

Of all the images I have ever capture this is the one I always return to as my favourite.
