Holy Roller

Holy Roller II
I love Whitby's east pier, it has a character that has been lost on the more popular west pier. It retains much its original stone work and a lot of the old features like capstans, bollards and rollers from the days when sailing ships would have been moored along its walls. This image was made at dawn on a lovely sunny spring morning.
